The Society Of Feline Artists London Exhibition 2006August 12th, 2006 The Society Of Feline Artists London show starts on September the 4th and runs for three weeks at the Llewellyn Alexander gallery at Waterloo in London. Sugar Plum Fairies made the front cover of the catalogue! I’m so thrilled. It looks like it’s going to be a great exhibition this year with a wide range of work on show. There were some beautiful paintings being handed in today. If anyone would like an invite to the private view do email me. Big Beautiful EyesAugust 1st, 2006
This is a sketch of Karli (aka Dovepeak Paintedlaydi) a gorgeous tortie and white Devon Rex cat. She is such a cutie and those beautiful enormous yellow green eyes makes her wonderful to paint! I think her breed name is very appropriate. She lives in Devon with Sarah and Ian and the rest if the feline family. Here is the finished painting of Big Beautiful Eyes. It’s a small picture, 8×8 inches, painted in watercolour and acrylics on watercolour paper in very light washes to keep the delicacy of the sketch and the impact of her amazing eyes. |
