Riley is sitting by the pond on a warm summers day watching the fish swim by beneath him. I wonder how good he is at fishing? This is an acrylic painting on canvas.

This is Frogsley, a cat with fabulous, HUGE green eyes. I’m sure these eyes are deadly weapons in the struggle to get humans to open the right tin! Could you resist him? I couldn’t.

A quick sketch idea for a new painting.

A tighter sketch of favourite snack. I think I prefer this composition to the earlier sketch. Not sure about the blue background though.

Here’s another fluffy beauty with startling eyes. I’m partly through the painting process using acrylics in glazes over my favourite very fine linen canvas which gives a very smooth lovely surface.

Buster is now finished. He really does have amazing eyes.

I hope I’ve been able to do him justice.
