This is Freddie. He is a commissioned portrait, an 18×18 inch acrylic painting on canvas. He has the most amazing eyes! :-)
A close up of the canvas…
I hope I’ve managed to capture those startling eyes.

I hope I’ve managed to capture those startling eyes. Cosmo and CelesteMay 22nd, 2009 Cosmo and Celeste are two beautiful Korats. In the commissioned painting they are sitting in their favourite place, the kitchen.
Ness, Vienna, Rigsby and BobMarch 18th, 2009 This commission to paint Ness, Vienna, Rigsby and Bob took me a while to complete. Their owners, Stuart and Jane, wanted the four of them curled up together but Ness doesn’t like having her photo taken! So I needed to come up with a pose that included all four cats even though we couldn’t get them to pose for the painting.
This is a 22×16 inch acrylic on a deep sided canvas. Here are some detailed photos… Ness, Vienna and Rigsby.
Handsome Bob.
This shows the painted edges of the 1.5 inch deep canvas.
Pretty Blue GirlMay 14th, 2006 This little cat is Cora, a British Blue kitten. She’s sitting under a Japanese pagoda in the garden and the sunlight is falling through the leaves of the plant next to her. I loved the colours, the blues, greys and violets in her fur and in the slate all around her and the warm yellows and golds in the pot and in her fabulous eyes.
And here is a close up of the finished painting, it was painted in acrylics on William Turner paper.
