This is Cookie. Jo commissioned me to paint her as a gift for her Mum for Christmas. She’s a beautiful ginger cat and reminds me of our ginger boy Solly.
This is acrylics on paper. The reflections in the wood floor were a lot of fun to paint.

This is Jo’s Mum! This has to have been my best Christmas present ever! It had me in floods of tears when I opened it on Christmas day, as we only lost our darling Cookie this autumn, but you have captured her absolutely perfectly and every time I look at your beautiful painting (which, believe me, is often) it feels as though she’s still with us. My lovely daughter couldn’t have chosen a more thoughtful gift and you are such a talented artist. Thank you so much.
