Buster – A New Print

I’ve been meaning to do this painting as a print for some time. I finally got around to it when somebody asked for a print of him. So here he is, Buster, a beautiful Maine Coon on a luscious purple/blue background.

Reminds me of the cat in the Robert Heinlein novel. The hero has a house in Connecticut with six doors and during the cold thmnos when the cat wants to go out he has to take it to each door to show it that there’s winter outside every one, because the cat keeps looking for The Door Into Summer. I first read the book in junior high and recall thinking that it was set in what seemed to me the far, almost unimaginable future the year 2000.
