This is another Christmas commission. Frosty was commissioned by Tabitha for her daughter. Tabitha has some of the loveliest cats around and luckily they sometimes model for me too.

This is a 16×12 acrylic on canvas board.

I’ve written you before. As a fellow cat-artist, I am in awe of your work. How do you get so much light on them? You blend amazingly with acrylics. You’re talent is amazing.

Thanks Liza. In this case I had the amazing photography of Frosty’s owner to work with. The lighting was already beautiful and all I had to do was try and do the same in paint. But it did take me two tries to get it right.
