Pretty Blue Girl

This little cat is Cora, a British Blue kitten. She’s sitting under a Japanese pagoda in the garden and the sunlight is falling through the leaves of the plant next to her. I loved the colours, the blues, greys and violets in her fur and in the slate all around her and the warm yellows and golds in the pot and in her fabulous eyes.
And here is a close up of the finished painting, it was painted in acrylics on William Turner paper.
