This month’s calendar cat, Siamese Blue, arrives like a perfect summer’s day… Eyes as blue as a cloudless sky, and a warm backdrop that feels just like sunshine on your skin. She’s elegant, beautiful and quietly watching over your June days. Lets hope the weather is as lovely as she is. ?

The Joys Of Studio Life

This is what happens in my house when I turn my back for one second. Honestly, I should know better by now.

Smudge has a thing for paper — sitting on it, tearing it, gleefully shredding it like she’s on a mission. I was halfway through making a fresh batch of greetings cards… but clearly, she had other plans. Quality control? Or maybe she’s just claiming the stock for herself.

Every sheet of card is, in her mind, a new throne. And once she’s parked herself, that’s it — you’ll need a royal decree (and some dreamies) to move her. So for now, card-making is on hold. I’ll resume once she’s wandered off to her other favourite spot… curled up in the bath.
Yep. The bath. Don’t ask — she’s got very specific tastes.

Life with cats: equal parts chaos, comedy, and cuddles. ?

As soon as Smudge relinquishes the workspace, I’ll get back to card production — they’ll be in the shop soon. In the meantime, feel free to take a peek at what’s already made it onto the shelves!

Big Red – Ginger Cat Watercolour Painting

Meet “Big Red” a gorgeous ginger Maine Coon cat sitting in the sun. I do love painting big ginger fluffballs! His coat is full of colour with pinks, yellows and greens. Striking teal whiskers make a lovely contrast. He is painted with love in watercolour. ?The model for Big Red is my friends adorable and beautiful ginger maine coon cat. He is the softest and most loving cat and soooo handsome!

Beautiful panther! I was so happy to receive my painting of this gorgeous black kitty. I have a huge soft spots for black cats, having had three. The painting, colors, design is absolutely fabulous! Billie Holiday – A Watercolour Portrait

Meet Billie Holiday—a stunning Maine Coon cat with a gaze that stops you in your tracks. I recently painted her in watercolour on handmade paper, and she was a joy to bring to life on the page. I gave her delicate gold whiskers that curl gently towards her striking green eyes. That little detail adds a touch of elegance and sparkle—just like Billie herself.

The portrait is painted on beautiful handmade paper from Two Rivers. It has soft, deckle edges, I always think those edges add a quiet kind of magic, giving the piece a timeless, tactile feel.

Billie’s portrait has now sold and is off to her lovely new home.
