Doing The Washing Up

This one’s called ‘Doing The Washing Up’. This is how it came about….. ?

Meet Nala, Bengal cat with a surprising obsession. While most cats steer clear of water, she seeks it out. From the moment she arrived, it was clear she wasn’t a typical cat. Forget chasing toy mice or snoozing in sunny spots. Nala headed straight for the kitchen sink. It became her favourite spot. She’d sit there watching the tap like it might spring to life. And if you weren’t paying attention… drip drip drip… she had somehow turned the tap on again. ?

Ask any Bengal owner, and they’ll nod knowingly. It’s a breed thing, that mysterious love of water, part wild cat, part mischief. Nala embodies it completely.

Obviously I couldn’t resist painting such a fabulous cat. This print (taken from the original painting) captures Nala in her favourite spot… the kitchen sink… where she feels completely at home.
Naturally it had to be called ‘Doing The Washing Up’! ? Get a print here.

Midnight’s Whiskers

These days how does anyone know if a piece of art is made by AI or a human? Are artists like me a dying breed I wonder? I guess close up photos where you can see the hand of the artist are the way to go? This girl is Midnight, a black cat with fabulous curly whiskers, which I’ve made multi coloured for fun and because it suits her. :-)

It’s September! Time to turn the page and meet The Bag Inspector ? No handbag is safe from her very thorough checks! With those big gold eyes and that beautiful ginger coat, she could be a feline supermodel instead. ?Such a pretty burmese cat, gingers are the best!

Meet Horatio. This handsome ginger Maine Coon cat is full of warmth, character, and colour. He’s painted in glowing watercolours with touches of pink and green and a splash of teal in his whiskers for a little extra flair. I do love that cute nose! What do you think, mischief maker or gentle giant? He looks like a softie to me.
