With her elegant pose and beautiful calico coat she’s clearly a fashion designer. She needed a regal portrait as befits a queen of fashion, so I painted her on a gold board. The metallic gold may look yellow in the photo, but in person, it truly shines. This 10×8 inch oil painting on a gold wood board even has golden whiskers to match her royal aura. ??

On one side it’s Starry Night, deep blues, blacks and tiny glints of gold that look like a midnight sky sprinkled with ruby and sapphire sparks. Flip it over and it’s Tortie attitude, bold blacks, pearly whites, warm reds and flashes of gold. Totally different vibe, same necklace.
