Just finished another commission. This is Frankie, off to his new home. I’ve loved painting this gorgeous boy. Lots of lovely warm tones in his coat and those beautiful eyes. A really handsome lad.

He is an acrylic painting on stretched canvas. I’m sad to see him go really, he’s one of my favourites.

Mouse and Eeyore – Commission

A new painting, just finished, another commission. This is Mouse and Eeyore, two ragdoll cats curled up together. I loved painting them and I love these colours too! 🙂 I think they look good on that red carpet. It took quite a while to finish this one but I’m pleased with the result.

This is Misha, a fabulous black cat with amazing yellow eyes. This was a joy to paint. All those beautiful colours in his coat and those warm yellows and golds behind him too, with hints of turquoise and pink.

The background is inspired by the room the painting will hang in. I took those colours and created an abstract backdrop for Misha. But still the most powerful part of the painting are his eyes and that amazing expression. 🙂 Here’s a close up of the canvas.
