Yin and Yang

A new painting and a real challenge for me, painting cats in the landscape. Something I’ve wanted to do for ages and thanks to Inge, who let me use her cats, Kit and Rocky, as models. I love the pose and that one is a black cat and the other a white cat.

I had fun painting the abstract grasses in front of them. I can’t help wondering what made them both look around, maybe they heard the dinner bell. :-) Thanks so much for letting me paint them Inge.
