Billie Holiday – A Watercolour Portrait

Meet Billie Holiday—a stunning Maine Coon cat with a gaze that stops you in your tracks. I recently painted her in watercolour on handmade paper, and she was a joy to bring to life on the page. I gave her delicate gold whiskers that curl gently towards her striking green eyes. That little detail adds a touch of elegance and sparkle—just like Billie herself.

The portrait is painted on beautiful handmade paper from Two Rivers. It has soft, deckle edges, I always think those edges add a quiet kind of magic, giving the piece a timeless, tactile feel.

Billie’s portrait has now sold and is off to her lovely new home.
