Firecracker In Watercolour

This is Firecracker. The first time I painted her, she was just a youngster, mischievous, sparkling with energy, always up to something. Now she’s grown into a stunning Maine Coon, elegant yet still carrying that fiery spark in her eyes. I wanted to capture her again, this time in watercolour on handmade paper, with whiskers of gold and copper. I just love the way the sun splashes light over the painting too. :-)
