Feather Dancer – SOLD

Here’s one of the new paintings for the Society Of Feline Artists  show in London this month. I loved painting this one! He’s painted in acrylics with a knife.

The trickiest part of the painting is the swatch of colour at the top that represents the feather toy he’s chasing. It had to be right first time so there was no room for mistakes! I practiced different colour combinations, swiping them with the palette knife across a sheet of paper until I had the right one.

I like the combination of blue and orange as well as transparent and opaque.
