Portrait Of Tom – Sold

A recent commission. This is Tom, a gorgeous ginger burmese cat relaxing in the sun on the floor. Cats always know the sunniest spot. There’s something wonderful about ginger cats and the way the sun lights up their fur. Don’t you think? With his ginger coat, the mint green carpet in the background and the soft pink shadows under him I kept thinking of him as the ice cream cat. I loved painting him.
