The Abbey Road Cats

Did you know that today is the 50th anniversary of the famous photo of The Beatles crossing Abbey Road? It’s fifty years since the Beatles were photographed striding single file over the crossing on August 8 1969. The image used as the cover of their Abbey Road album went on to become one of the most recognised covers in music history.

AND it’s also International Cat Day too. So to celebrate here is a new painting, The Abbey Road Cats. This is a 16×12 inch acrylic painting of four cats crossing Abbey Road. A Maine Coon, a Siamese, a black cat (yes its Harry) and a ginger cat. Music lovers all.
