That Tabby Stare – Sold

I loved painting this close-up face, with all those beautiful stripes, soft watercolour blooms and one bright golden eye watching the world. There’s something so expressive about tabbies. They can look wise, curious, affectionate and slightly judgemental all at once.

And of course, I couldn’t resist finishing him with shimmering gold whiskers.
