Layla Jane At The Door – Sold

This little watercolour is a bit of an adventure. I’d usually do a subject like this in oils but I thought I’d try it in watercolour. Layla Jane is sitting at the door looking at the outside world. I loved the pose and the elegant shape she makes against the light. I really enjoyed doing it. 😀 There’s a lovely metallic blue wash in her coat too.
